SATURDAY, AUGUST 9, 2014
The first annual Row and Run will be held on the Licking River and in Covington, KY on Saturday, August 9, 2014. A 3-mile canoe race followed by a 5k run, the event will raise funds for the nonprofit LEGACY, while also showcasing Covington's downtown district and the river's recreational opportunities.
LEGACY encourages young leaders who embrace the principles of meaningful participation, effective citizenship and extraordinary imagination to unite in an effort to enhance the quality of life and economic well-being in the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati communities.
Teams of two register for $50 per person ($100 for the team). There will be three team divisions - male, female, and co-ed.
